Canon Firmware Updates: Canon EOS 5D Mark IV / Canon EOS 6D Mark II
New / Latest Firmware updates for the following Canon EOS Cameras (May 2023):
- Canon EOS 5D Mark IV Camera
- Canon EOS 6D Mark II Camera
Firmware Notice: Canon EOS 5D Mark IV: Firmware Version 1.4.0
Firmware Version 1.4.0 incorporates the following enhancements:
Adds enhanced security for transferring captured images to image.canon.
After July 2023, please update to this firmware version so that you will be able to send images to image.canon.
If you do not update to this version, an error message will appear when sending images and the image will not be sent.
Firmware Version 1.4.0 is for cameras with firmware up to Version 1.3.3 If the camera's firmware is already Version 1.4.0, it is not necessary to update the firmware.
