Additionally, key enhancements across the imageCLASS and imagePRESS portfolios, including the new imagePRESS C270 Series, have been specifically designed to help businesses of all sizes navigate the hybrid working world. As organisations look to fine-tune newly implemented hybrid strategies, workspaces are changing. Large offices with multiple departments are no longer the norm, with many firms downsizing their real estate footprint and consolidating processes to factor in a variety of different work environments.

The latest addition to Canon’s colour A4 portfolio, the imageCLASS MF756Cx, imageCLASS X C1333iF multi-function printers and imageCLASS LBP674Cx single function printer, delivers improved productivity, user experience and strengthened security, all on more compact devices. The devices offer increased paper size options and higher quality media output, such as A5 duplex print and A6 one-sided print, make the devices a reliable and flexible component to any mixed fleet.

The new imagePRESS C270 Series offers higher speed scanning and a consistent user experience in line with the rest of the Canon workspace portfolio. The devices combine functionality and connectivity with creative professional output, allowing businesses to advance their in-house printing capabilities with brochures, direct mail, catalogues and more.

With Canon’s advanced print and scan management software, uniFLOW online, users can harness the power of cloud connectivity to tie their fleet together across multiple workspaces. The integrated software solution bolsters workspace collaboration by supporting pre-existing Canon devices, so businesses can ensure seamless document management and security across Canon’s new introductions as well as pre-existing devices in their infrastructure.

Ted Matsumoto, General Manager Product Marketing at Canon Australia comments: “These new launches mark the latest iteration in our commitment to meet the evolving needs of our customers. During the last few years hybrid working has become a constantly evolving concept and as such, organisations large and small have shown an increasing need for solutions which are able to support employees whenever, wherever, and however they may be working. The ability to access and share documents in all workplace locations is a necessity in today’s working world and the digitisation and cloud connection capability of our portfolio continues to empower users to stay engaged, productive and secure.”

Mr Matsumoto continues, “Innovation is also key for meeting customers’ evolving needs. By refreshing our imageCLASS range, we are ensuring our devices are optimised to answer users’ growing requirements and support our partner community in expanding their market opportunities as a result.”
imageCLASS devices to expand sales opportunities by capturing small business needs

Fast-moving environments like retail, for example, often need to print or scan documents quickly in a shared workspace. With simple, out-of-the-box cloud connectivity, the new imageCLASS devices allow partners to maximise sales potential thanks to their straightforward functionality and flexibility.
Colour multifunction printers empowering SMEs with premium productivity features

With printing speeds of up to 33pm and up to 100ipm scanning speeds for the colour multifunction printers, the new range takes productivity to the next level. The devices can also handle a wide variety of media1, perfect for those who work with different sized documents daily.

Thanks to the simple step-by step set up and a streamlined Wi-Fi process, users can confidently plug and play with no prior IT expertise, ideal for businesses that do not have dedicated technical support. Nauticam Underwater Housing for Canon EOS R3

Nauticam NA-R3 Underwater Housing for Canon EOS R3 Camera

Nauticam NA-R3 Underwater Housing For The Canon EOS R3 Camera
Underwater Housing for the Canon EOS R3 - Image Credit: Nauticam

The Canon R3 is one of the most exciting camera releases of the year in the underwater imaging world along with the Sony A1 and Nikon Z9. All three cameras represent the pinnacle of each manufacturer's technological developments distilled into a pro-level hybrid-shooting mirrorless body. The R3 turns up the performance level of the features that makes Canon a popular choice with underwater users such as their Dual Pixel AF and top-tier video recording specs while maintaining excellent still image quality.

THE NAUTICAM NA-R3 UNDERWATER HOUSING

The Nauticam NA-R3 professional aluminum underwater housing for the Canon EOS R3 mirrorless full frame camera is a tru hybrid shooting solution, just as the R3 itself. Nauticam has continuously supported both the Canon pro-level DSLR lineup as well as the growing full-frame RF-mount mirrorless cameras with innovative underwater housings and the new NA-R3 is the combination of all those technologies. Blending elements of our 1D series housings with those for the R series, the NA-R3 will be the most capable housing for the R3 available.

MISSION CONTROL

Nauticam engineers design each housing to insure that controls are placed where they are needed most and within easy reach of a natural hand position. The NA-R3 features large knurled control dials for the main and sub-command dials as well as an additional shoulder dial for the customizable control wheel of the R3. A fourth control wheel, near the front of the left handle can articulate the ring of the optional EF-to-RF lens adapter when using EF lenses. There is a dual thumb lever on the right side for Record and AF-ON as well as single levers for M-Fn and Fn2. A lever on the left side actuates the Pv control which can change between exposure preview and OVF simulation modes on the EVF. An additional dual thumb lever on the left side is for Playback and Magnification.

HDMI 2.0 AND MOUNTING POINTS

The R3 can output clean 6K 60p over HDMI and the NA-R3 features a large bore M24 bulkhead to support an HDMI 2.0 connection to an external monitor or recorder. Mounting the monitor or recorder or other accessories is even easier with 3x 1/4"-20 mounting holes as well as an additional M10 mounting point atop the housing. Check the resources sidebar for supported monitor/recorder housings and recommended accessories.

FLASH TRIGGERING

Flash triggering can be accomplished via the two included M14 electronic bulkheads (One is pre-installed in the M24 bulkhead via a removable M26-M14 adapter). If using fiber-optic triggering, the built-in fiber optic bulkheads can be used with either the optional manual LED or TTL-flash triggers to provide the desired type of strobe power control.

PREMIUM PROFESSIONAL OPTICS

The NA-R3 is built around the N120 Canon RF-mount Port System which supports a wide array of Canon RF mount lenses with a selection of optical glass and acrylic ports. With lens-removal controls for both EF and RF mount lenses, the NA-R3 can support both lens mount types without modification to the housing. The EF-RF lens adapter is accommodated inside the housing which allows for the use of the N120 Canon EF-mount Port System without any additional extension rings. When switching between an EF and RF lens, the camera must be removed to install or remove the adapter. The Nauticam lineup of Premium Professional Optics can deliver unparalleled optical quality and expanded creative options. When used with the Canon RF 14-35 F/4 IL USM lens, the WACP-2 creates a stunning 140º field-of-view while maintaining an incredibly natural looking image and excellent corner sharpness. The SMC-1 delivers 2.3x macro magnification to the RF 100mm macro lens while the SMC-2 delivers 3.3x.

VACUUM CHECK AND LEAK DETECTION SYSTEM

The housing comes with electronics pre-installed for Nauticam's Vacuum Check and Leak Detection system, requiring only the optional M16 Vacuum Valve (25625). This monitoring system provides constant updates on the water tight and safe-to-dive status of the housing. A simple color coded LED lighting system lets the user know that the vacuum is solid, or that the housing is losing vacuum. Leak detection is built into the same circuit, so if there is water intrusion, an audible and visual indication will occur. The Nauticam system is temperature compensated, eliminating false alarms caused by a change in outside temperature, or from a camera heating up on an action packed dive.

THE NAUTICAM NA-R5 UNDERWATER HOUSING FOR THE CANON EOS R5 CAMERA

The NA-R5 underwater housing follows suit with Nauticam's drive for innovation. Both the Canon EOS R5 and EOS R present shooters with the ability to use both the available legacy EF lenses via an adapter in addition to their native RF optics. To support both the legacy and native lenses, Nauticam has integrated the NA-R5 into the N120 port system. Canon's EF to RF mount adapters can be affixed to the camera before insertion into the housing. When using the EOS R5 inside the housing with the adapter and a supported EF lens, the port and extension ring arrangement will be identical to the same setup on a Nauticam Canon N120 DSLR. As the RF lens lineup emerges, dedicated port and extension ring combinations will be listed on the Port Chart. Two lens release buttons, one for RF and one for EF lenses used with the optional Canon adapter, are located on the front of the housing to make lens removal through the port opening simple.

Mission Control

Nauticam engineers are obsessed with getting the underwater image maker unfettered access to all the necessary controls, with as many within easy reach of the ergonomic rubberized handles. This Mission Control philosophy extends to the NA-R5 where a dual thumb lever and dual sub-lever are placed by the right handle. The upper thumb lever activates the "AF-On" and the lower the "Q" buttons while the sub-lever corresponds to the "M-Fn" and "Record" buttons. Near the left handle is a thumb lever for "Playback" as well as a dedicated switch to change from using LCD to the EVF.

Large knurled and rubberized control dials access the camera's "main" and "sub" command dials. The two-stage trigger allows for smooth focus and firing activation. Additional buttons for "Menu", "Focus Point Selection" and others are also easily reached from the handles.

An additional control wheel is located on the left side of the housing and will interface with the control ring on the supported EF to EOS R Mount Adapter with Control Ring using the optional gear (PN 19561).

Flash Triggering

Flash triggering is achieved via one of two optional Flash Triggers, a manual LED trigger (PN 26301) or a TTL Flash Trigger (PN 26321) that use the built-in fiber optic bulkheads with optional fiber-optic cables to trigger supported strobes. For controlling strobes that do not support fiber optic flash triggering, a variety of legacy hot-shoe flash control bulkheads are available.

INTEGRATED VACUUM CHECK AND LEAK DETECTION SYSTEM

The Nauticam vacuum check and leak detection electronics are shipped with the NA-R5 as standard equipment. Combined with an accessory vacuum valve this monitoring system provides constant updates on the water tight and safe-to-dive status of the housing.
