MELVILLE, N.Y., April 6, 2017 – Canon U.S.A., Inc., a leader in digital imaging solutions, is proud to announce that it has received the 2017 ENERGY STAR “Partner of the Year - Product Brand Owner Award” from the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for its contribution to reducing greenhouse gas emissions by manufacturing energy-efficient products.

This is the second consecutive year that Canon has earned this distinction and the third time overall (2010 and 2016). Including these awards, Canon has been recognized eleven times by the EPA since 1996, also earning “Excellence Awards” for “ENERGY STAR Promotion” (2011) and “Product Labeling” (1996, 1997, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2005 and 2008).
