HONG KONG, 28th October 2021 — Canon today announces the launch of PowerShot PICK - New Concept Compact PTZ Digital Camera and New Black Edition PowerShot ZOOM - Palm Size Super-Telephoto Camera. PowerShot PICK was launched through a crowdfunding campaign on Makuake, Japan’s largest crowdfunding platform, and wildly successful by surpassing its goal at the time of publication. It is now available in Hong Kong. It is designed for family with kids and people who enjoy group activities. With in-built features of face-capture technology, the PowerShot PICK will automatically recognize faces around it and capture (via video or photography) memorable moments in a candid manner.
PowerShot ZOOM is a Palm Size Super-Telephoto Camera. With its ability to capture tele-photos and videos, it is designed for those who want to get a closer view for activities such as birdwatching, sports and music concert watching or kids performance watching. PowerShot ZOOM received high market attention since launched in April 2021. To answer the high market demand from different customers, Black Edition is now available in Hong Kong. The tiny and stylish design makes it useful in a wide variety of situations and to keep memories of all the sights you come across in your day out.
