Canon PIXMA Photo Paper Glossy II & Glossy Photo Paper

As a frequent user of Canon's Glossy II Paper and / or Glossy Photo Paper these two paper offerings are recommended for anybody wanting to print standard to high quality photographs on their Canon Inkjet printers.

Genuine Canon 6" x 4" (10 x 15cm) glossy paper options are used for printing standard to high quality borderless photos on my Canon PIXMA MG 3140 A4 Inkjet Photo Printer (Images from my Canon EOS 700D and Canon PowerShot SX40 HS cameras):

• Photo Paper Plus Glossy II
• Glossy Photo Paper

All my photo printing is done via Canon's Easy-PhotoPrint EX bundled Windows 10 printer software interface. 

I print less than 50 photos per month and both these Photo Paper packs are really a low cost high quality solution for smaller home / office print jobs.

Canon PIXMA Photo Paper Plus Glossy II PP-201 50 Sheets 4" x 6" 

This paper yields a superior high quality photo finish on the PIXMA printer and is similar to photographic print standards offered by most high-end consumer print shops. Colours are rich and calibrate well with the on-screen image colours. Use these to really show off your portrait and landscape photos to clients, family and friends.

Canon PIXMA Glossy Photo Paper GP-501 100 Sheets 4" x 6"

Although the print quality is less 'professional' than the Glossy II finish, its still of very higher quality print standard compared to printing on standard A4 print / copy paper. Colours are vibrant and of a good gloss finish. Its about 50% cheaper than the Glossy II Paper and as Canon brands it on the packaging  - photo-lab quality for "Everyday Use".

Frequent bulk printing?

Both these Glossy Photo Paper options are not recommended for frequent bulk photo printing of +- 20 or more images at a time (considering photo paper / ink cartridge costs). A visit to your local print / copy shop should yield a much more cost-effective print solution.
